      The product is best in this category if I consider its specs. I get around 1.8TB out of 2TB. It's hard plastic with a layer of rubber padding around its sides giving extra protection. It's very easy to grip. Moreover you can also backup your data in Transcend Cloud. So even if it gets deleted by mistake it'll be safe. It comes with 3year warranty as well. My only concern is it's price. It should be priced less than Rs5000 comparing with the other products in this category.

      No loose usb connections - usb connections should be treated carefully , take care when connecting and disconnecting a usb 3 cable , if u observe the rules then it will last . The drive came yesterday it is fast on usb 3, again the cable is kept short to make sure that maximum speeds are attained , as cable length increases resistance of the cable can prevent proper functioning of the drive , I have a 1.5m usb 3 cable , I am not using it because of the same reason. This is my 3rd transcend drive my oldest 250gb drive is more than 8 years old still in very good condition , I have another 1Tb transcend drive more than 5 yrs old still in very good condition . I prefer these drives to WD or Seagate drives . a WD 80GB drive failed in my I omega hard drive . My Seagate network drive also failed after 2 years. So all users who say this drive is bad please go back and learn how to take care of hard drives. Please take good care of these complicated devices . These drives have saved me in many difficult situations . I take full snap shots of my hard drives using Macrium Reflect free back up software. I ask all of u to try this software instead of the transcend software that come with the drive. To take a full back up with the OS of your computers to not be sorry later if something goes wrong.

I've heard several stories of my friends losing important client data on Seagate and WD drives but these things are durable. You really get what you pay for in terms of that extra durability and protection. Of course, since it's a hard drive you can't drop it anywhere but Transcend drives tend to last long and this one's no exception

      I bought the 2TB version in 2019 and absolutely love it. No fails till date. I've heard several stories of my friends losing important client data on Seagate and WD drives but these things are durable. You really get what you pay for in terms of that extra durability and protection. Of course, since it's a hard drive you can't drop it anywhere but Transcend drives tend to last long and this one's no exception

      I chose amazon and this hard disk as it was deliverable in one day and it was Military-grade.
      It also had very good reviews.

      It worked well in Delhi but It stopped to work in tawang in extreme weather condition.
      All other hard disks from WD worked extremely well except this.

      So kindly consider this point also before choosing it

      è arrivato da poco e subito mi è piaciuto per l'aspetto esterno. Gommato, resistente e colorato. Non scivola su superfici lisce e non rischia di cadere come è facile che succeda quando sul tavolo si hanno tante cose accanto al notebook. E' molto veloce e silenzioso e non si riscalda anche con un uso prolungato. Se lasciato collegato al computer poi si mette in riposo dopo alcuni minuti di non utilizzo e riparte da solo.
      Il software in dotazione che permette di fare backup in automatico premendo il tasto che si trova nell'angolo dx non l'ho provato ma penso che dovrebbe essere molto comodo perchè effettua dei salvataggi incrementali. Il tasto è molto ergonomico perchè è localizzato da un cerchietto illuminato ed è contenuto all'interno della superficie gommata. Nessuna sporgenza o spigolosità.
      E' enormemente capiente e non è ingombrante. Sono molto soddisfatto.

      Really good just wish they had other colours if they did I would of bought a few more so it makes it easier to know whats on the hard drives, I have bought another drive but wish I had paid a bit more for another one of these as if this was dropped on the floor there would be no worries about damaging it, the cheaper drive I bought feels like it would shatter into pieces if dropped
